Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced Technical Lead to provide technical direction for Azure-based platforms in a highly regulated government environment. You will lead a team of Cloud Engineers, a Java Developer and a System Analyst, ensuring security, reliability and ongoing improvement of production systems.

You will drive automation, define engineering standards, manage risks, and engage with clients and stakeholders on-site in Canberra.

Qualifications

Evidence of designing and operating cloud platforms in Azure PROTECTED environments.
Experience leading cloud/platform engineering teams.
Strong scripting and automation capabilities, especially PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Cloud Engineers, a Java Developer and System Analyst, providing technical direction and mentorship.
Own reliability, availability, performance and security of cloud platforms meeting SLAs and compliance.
Design and deliver scalable Azure cloud solutions, including PROTECTED environments.
Drive automation via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
Lead incident response with root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
Oversee monitoring, metrics and health using cloud-native tools.
Collaborate with delivery and operations and maintain runbooks and design artefacts.
