Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Cloud Operations Administrator to maintain and optimise secure cloud environments supporting critical government and defence workloads. You will collaborate with engineering, cyber security and customer stakeholders to keep services reliable, secure and scalable.

Key responsibilities include administering Azure and AWS, automating routines with scripting and IaC, and driving continuous improvement across production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms in production environments.
• Experience with cloud networking, compute, storage and identity services.
• Experience monitoring clouds, handling incidents and resolving complex issues.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python or Bash preferred.
• Knowledge of IaC solutions such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and modern cloud operating models.
• Ability to work with technical teams, security specialists and customers in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer secure Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring availability and security.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes across complex production environments.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and IaC to improve reliability and scalability.
• Partner with technical teams and customers to deliver compliant, resilient cloud services.
