xAmplify, a leading technology consultancy, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure/Software Engineer to support a key Australian Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a complex hybrid environment spanning Azure, Microsoft 365, and on‑premises infrastructure, with emphasis on reliability, security and performance.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in Information Technology environments.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Experience in hybrid infrastructure environments.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and identity management.
Experience with ITIL-based service delivery and incident/change management.

Responsibilities

Support and optimise Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application and integration issues.
Monitor performance, availability and security; identify improvement opportunities.
Assist with automation initiatives and platform upgrades.
Participate in release management, DR testing and operational readiness.
