Job summary

HiTech Personnel is assisting a major Federal Government cloud transformation in Canberra to hire an Azure Cloud Engineer on a 12-24 month contract with strong extension potential. Hybrid work arrangements are available, with NV1 clearance noted.

The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable Azure platforms, IaC automation, and deployment pipelines across the enterprise to enable rapid modernization and application delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience engineering enterprise Azure solutions.
• Proficiency with Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates.
• Experience building Azure DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure Azure hosting services and resources.
• Develop IaC using Bicep, Terraform and ARM templates.
• Build and support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Configure Azure networking, identity, security and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement monitoring, logging and operational support for Azure environments.
