Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific seeks an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead Azure-based cloud modernization for a Federal Government program in Canberra. The role is a 12-month initial contract with a view to extending for another 12 months, offering hybrid work arrangements and a competitive hourly rate.

You will design secure, scalable Azure solutions, oversee governance and architecture standards, and provide guidance to delivery teams across a portfolio of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cloud architectures for large scale or digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical cloud designs.
• Experience leading complex technology implementations and delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading cloud solution architectures from requirements through to implementation
• Designing secure, resilient, scalable and supportable solutions using Microsoft Azure services
• Producing solution designs, patterns, standards and implementation guidance
• Presenting solution proposals through architecture and technology governance processes
• Providing architecture oversight and technical guidance to delivery teams
