Job summary

xAmplify, an Australian technology consultancy, is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure/Software Engineer to join our Technology Services team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will support a key government client, managing Azure, M365, on-premises infrastructure and critical applications within a hybrid environment.

You will help modernise cloud platforms, improve security and performance, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Information Technology environments.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Experience working within hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Technical expertise across Microsoft technologies, infrastructure and application support.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting business applications, databases and integrations.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and identity management technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Experience working within structured service delivery environments and ITIL-based processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimise Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Invest igate, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application and integration issues.
• Monitor system performance, availability and security, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Implement configuration changes, enhancements and fixes across business-critical systems.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous service improvement activities.
• Support release management, disaster recovery testing and operational readiness activities.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers and vendors to deliver technical outcomes.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration activities and platform optimisation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.
