Job summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a Senior Training Manager to lead a team of instructional professionals in a highly regulated defence aviation environment. You will oversee the MTO training framework and ensure compliance with applicable DASR/EASA/CASA requirements across multiple sites.

You will manage Part 145/147 training packages, develop assessment strategies and courseware, and mentor staff while coordinating with Defence stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Mechanical or Avionics.
• TAE Enterprise Trainer skill sets – Mentoring or Presenting.

Responsibilities

• Own MTO training framework ensuring DASR/EASA/CASA compliance.
• Oversee Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition and Training & Certification Plan.
• Oversee approved Part 145 and Part 147 training packages.
• Develop Training Assessment Strategies and courseware.
• Lead, mentor and coach instructional staff across locations.
• Identify training gaps and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborate with Quality and Aviation Safety to investigate shortfalls.
• Ensure training is delivered safely and professionally.
• Deliver training and assessment as required.
• Represent Jet Aviation with Defence, regulatory and industry stakeholders.
