Job summary

Jet Aviation Defence seeks a Senior Training Manager to lead the Maintenance Training Organisation in a highly regulated defence aviation environment, based at Bullsbrook, WA. You’ll develop capability for PC-21 and B300 programs, and influence training delivery across training, maintenance, quality and safety functions.

You will manage a multi-site training framework, ensure compliance with DASR/EASA/CASA, and collaborate with Defence stakeholders to close capability gaps while maintaining

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Mechanical or Avionics.
• TAE Enterprise Trainer skill sets - Mentoring or Presenting.
• Minimum 5 years aviation experience.
• Demonstrated aviation training and assessment experience.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 and Part 147 requirements in civil and/or military aviation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and people skills.
• An analytical, solutions-focused approach to complex issues.
• Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office.
• A commitment to safety, customer service and professional excellence.
• Australian citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition and Training & Certification Plan.
• Oversee approved Part 145 and Part 147 training packages.
• Develop Training Assessment Strategies and supporting courseware.
• Lead, mentor and coach instructional staff across multiple locations.
• Identify training and capability gaps and develop practical solutions.
• Work closely with Quality and Aviation Safety teams to investigate training shortfalls.
• Ensure training and assessment is delivered safely, professionally and consistently.
• Deliver training and assessment where required.
• Represent Jet Aviation with Defence, regulatory and industry stakeholders.
