Job summary

Jet Aviation Defence in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Training Manager to lead the Maintenance Training Organisation framework across DASR, EASA and CASA compliant programs. You will oversee Part 145/147 training packages, develop assessment strategies, and mentor instructional staff across multiple sites.

This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aviation training experience.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 and Part 147 requirements.
• Australian citizenship and right to work in Australia.
• Experience across Defence or regulatory aviation environments.

Responsibilities

• Own MTO training framework compliant with DASR/EASA/CASA.
• Oversee Part 145 and Part 147 training packages.
• Develop Training Assessment Strategies and courseware.
• Lead, mentor and coach instructional staff across multiple locations.
• Identify training and capability gaps and implement practical solutions.
• Work with Quality and Aviation Safety to investigate shortfalls.
• Ensure training is delivered safely, professionally and consistently.
• Deliver training and assessment where required.
• Represent Jet Aviation Defence with Defence, regulatory and industry stakeholders.
