Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior leader to direct the Aviation & Pavements team in Melbourne. You will lead engineers to win and deliver projects for major road authorities, airports, and defence airfields across ANZ, shaping infrastructure across Australia and NZ.

You will drive technical excellence, develop growth opportunities with clients, and participate in global aviation networks and practice groups, while enjoying hybrid work arrangements and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Ideally 15+ years’ experience in airside infrastructure engineering design and pavement design.
• Experience delivering major aviation and transport infrastructure projects.
• Leadership experience as Project Director/Manager across disciplines.
• Strong client relationships and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and inspire the Aviation & Pavements team in Melbourne and ANZ.
• Drive technical excellence across the ANZ Aviation portfolio.
• Develop growth opportunities with clients and partners.
• Contribute to the ANZ Aviation business strategy and cross‑group activities.
