AECOM is seeking a senior aviation and pavements leader to head our team in Melbourne, delivering projects for major road authorities, airports, and defence airfields across ANZ. You will guide engineers, shape strategy, and drive technical excellence in a dynamic, global firm.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, project leadership, and participation in global aviation communities, with hybrid work options and continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Ideally 15+ years’ experience in airside infrastructure engineering design and aviation pavement design.
• Experience in interpreting, organising, executing and coordinating major aviation and transport infrastructure projects.
• Leadership in project delivery as Project Director/Manager, design management, and construction phase monitoring.
• Demonstrated client relationship management with strong communication and influence.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CASA, FAA, IATA and ICAO standards and guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Lead, manage and inspire our team in aviation and pavement projects in Melbourne and across ANZ.
• Drive technical excellence across our ANZ Aviation portfolio.
• Develop business growth opportunities with clients and construction partners, collaborating with the Aviation Growth Director.
• Participate in development and execution of our ANZ Aviation business strategy.
• Participate in AECOM’s Global Aviation Technical Academy and Aviation Tech Ex group.
• Engage in the Aviation Technical Practice Group with a global network of peers.
