Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a skilled Passenger Services supervisor in Sydney to lead operations and provide training and support to the team. This role focuses on safety, service quality, and efficiency across pre- and post-flight activities.

You will oversee rostering, staff interviews, performance reviews and liaising with client airlines to ensure the highest standards of service. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills and focus.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• High level leadership abilities.
• Apply a detailed knowledge of company policy and procedure.
• Interpretation of EBA and understanding of IR legislation.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance.
• Coordinate pre- and post-flight procedures to maintain service levels for client airlines.
• Oversee productivity and performance in designated area with regular reporting.
• Supervise staff and coordinate work within area of responsibility.
• Undertake flight operations tasks including passenger check-in and baggage services.
• Report to Passenger Services Manager and manage daily rostering.
• Participate in staff interviews and selection processes.
• Conduct staff assessments, appraisals and coaching.
• Liaise with airline representatives to ensure quality service delivery.
• Handle administrative projects as directed.
• Perform general administrative tasks as required.
