Job summary

Tasman Cargo Airlines is seeking a Learning & Development Officer for a fixed-term parental leave cover in Sydney. You will lead end-to-end coordination, design and deliver training, manage external providers and maintain training records to support organisational capability and safety compliance.

You will drive a comprehensive L&D program, monitor effectiveness, and partner with the People team to foster a high-performing workplace culture while supporting safety initiatives and travel

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) is required.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, Training, Communications, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Learning & Development or similar role.
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), ELMO preferred.
• Proficiency in training design tools such as Canva and MS Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an L&D framework aligned to business objectives.
• Identify and implement innovative learning solutions and training methodologies.
• Facilitate and deliver internal training programs.
• Coordinate internal and external training programs including scheduling and logistics.
• Manage training records, enrolments and compliance requirements.
• Monitor training effectiveness via feedback, reporting and data analysis.
