Job summary

QantasLink is seeking two fixed-term Ground Instructors in Melbourne to deliver engaging training programs, assess competency, and foster a strong safety and learning culture. You will work with the Ground and Inflight Training teams to ensure staff have the skills and confidence to perform safely.

You will bring experience in instructional delivery, coaching or teaching within aviation or safety-critical environments, translating technical content into clear learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in instructional delivery, training facilitation, coaching or teaching.
• Aviation or safety-critical environment experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational and emergency procedures and ability to translate technical information into engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cabin Crew ground training in accordance with approved training courseware, procedures, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences that support training outcomes and trainee standards.
• Conduct competency assessments against approved criteria and standards.
• Maintain training records, assessment documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
• Prepare facilities, equipment and materials to support training delivery.
• Identify training-related issues, risks or equipment faults and address them as required.
• Stay up-to-date with manuals, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and stakeholders to ensure training is consistent and effective.
• Support broader training activities and initiatives as required.
