Job summary

Airport Development Group (ADG) invites applications for a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical airport infrastructure in Alice Springs. You will drive asset lifecycle planning, contractor management, and project delivery within a fast-paced environment.

The role demands strong stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on management.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or trade background in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Construction, Electrical, Civil, or similar.
• Experience in facilities management, asset management, project management, and contract management.
• Strong WHS understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage airport infrastructure and asset maintenance programs.
• Develop and implement planned and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Lead facilities and service contracts, ensuring performance and compliance requirements are met.
• Deliver capital works and improvement projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor asset performance and contribute to long-term asset lifecycle planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, tenants, stakeholders, and service providers.
• Ensure aviation, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards compliance.
• Support budget development and cost management initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture through risk identification and management.
