Qualifications

• Proven experience working in an automotive workshop environment, ideally as a Mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems, diagnostics and repairs
• Demonstrated experience managing and motivating teams effectively
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with workshop management software and computer systems
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to automotive workshops
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• A commitment to maintaining high quality standards and customer service
• Certifications in automotive mechanics, Air Conditioner licence and RWC Licence
• Valid driver's licence including HR

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical workshop operations, including scheduling, workflow management and resource allocation
• Manage and supervise workshop mechanics
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations
• Conduct quality inspections on completed vehicles and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records for invoicing
• Liaise with customers regarding repairs, maintenance requirements and quotations
• Manage inventory on spare parts
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Resolve issues professionally
