Job summary

The Manufacturing Growth Hub Pty Ltd – Tuggerah NSW is seeking a casual full-time Automotive Spray Painter for rail vehicles and components. You’ll be responsible for surface preparation, mixing and applying coatings, and delivering high-quality finishes in a team-friendly environment.

Job description

The Manufacturing Growth Hub Pty Ltd – Tuggerah NSW

Reporting to the Senior Rail Technician, you'll be responsible for full-function automotive spray painting on rail vehicles, components and equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a casual position offering full-time hours with the opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and priming.

Mix and apply paints and coatings to specification.

Carry out full automotive spray painting from preparation through to finishing.

Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.

Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with safety standards.

Follow all company quality, environmental and safety procedures.

About you

A current RIW (Rail Industry Worker) Card, or willingness to obtain one.

Access to the Rail Corridor accreditation, or willingness to obtain it.

Ability to successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.

A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
