Job summary

Mark Nixon Automotive is a family-owned workshop in Townsville specialising in Land Rover, Range Rover and Jaguar servicing, maintenance and repair. We are seeking an experienced Administrator / Service Advisor to join a busy team and act as the key link between customers and workshop.

You’ll coordinate bookings, keep customers informed and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, with above-award wages and a supportive, close-knit team culture. The 9-day fortnight is currently being trialled.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, customer service or a Service Advisor role.
• Automotive industry experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• A positive, reliable and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, respond to enquiries and coordinate workshop bookings.
• Manage day-to-day administration, including data entry, invoicing and payments.
• Prepare customer quotes and provide updates on vehicle progress.
• Coordinate parts ordering and assist with warranty claims.
• Liaise with technicians to coordinate workflow and keep jobs progressing efficiently.
• Advise customers on recommended servicing and repairs.
• Maintain accurate parts, stock and workshop system records.
• Follow up with customers and contribute to a consistently high standard of service.
