Job summary

Charter Hall is seeking an Automation Solutions Executive to unite people, processes and technology across our national Retail portfolio. You’ll lead delivery from discovery to adoption, partner with Retail teams, connect systems and unlock automation, and track benefits to continuously improve how we work.

This role requires strong collaboration with IT and business units, leveraging Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform to create lasting value for customers, investors and communities.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience delivering software implementations, systems integrations, digital products, automation or technology transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, APIs, cloud applications, integration patterns, testing and release management.
• Experience in retail property or related environments is desirable.
• Ability to translate operational needs into practical technical designs and delivery plans.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot Studio or Dynamics is highly regarded.
• Hands-on capability in development, scripting, SQL, data modelling, BI, workflow automation or solution configuration.
• Knowledge of cyber security, privacy, data governance, records management, solution architecture and technology risk controls.

What you’ll bring to the team

• A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, APIs, cloud applications, integration patterns, testing and release management.
• Experience in retail property, property management, asset management, customer service or another operationally complex environment is desirable
• Ability to translate operational needs into practical technical designs, delivery plans and testable outcomes.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Dynamics or related enterprise technologies is highly regarded.
• Hands-on capability in one or more of software development, scripting, SQL, data modelling, business intelligence, workflow automation or solution configuration.
• Working knowledge of cyber security, privacy, data governance, records management, solution architecture and technology risk controls.
