Job summary

A leading IT services firm in Sydney is looking for a Mid-Senior Level Automation Lead to oversee the delivery and adoption of internal automation systems. You will manage a talented team, ensure effective implementation of solutions, and focus on achieving commercial viability and user adoption. The role requires strong leadership, Agile experience, and familiarity with automation platforms. Qualifications

Experience delivering internal systems and automation projects, ideally in an MSP or SaaS-heavy environment.
Proven team leadership experience, growing, mentoring, and managing engineers.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, system ownership, and change management.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap for internal platforms including off-the-shelf and custom-built solutions.
Lead and support a team of 5-7 engineers with structured feedback and development planning.
Ensure solutions drive active usage with adoption plans including training and metrics.
