Job summary

Essential Mining Solutions (EMS) is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for ongoing field service and maintenance roles across mine sites in the Hunter Valley and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• Relevant Auto Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Experience working on heavy earthmoving or mining equipment.
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems on heavy earthmoving and mining equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and general service work, working independently or as part of a maintenance crew.
• Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
• Supporting civil projects as opportunities arise.

With continued growth and long-term contracts, we're looking for experienced Auto Electricians to join our expanding team.

Our opportunities are primarily mine site-based, with positions across maintenance crews, field service, diagnostics and breakdowns. Civil work also becomes available from time to time, offering additional variety.

THE ROLE

We're recruiting experienced Auto Electricians for ongoing field service and maintenance opportunities across mine sites in the Hunter Valley and surrounding regions.

Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:

• Electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems on heavy earthmoving and mining equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and general service work.Working independently or as part of an experienced site maintenance crew.
• Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards.
• Supporting civil projects as opportunities arise.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're after skilled, reliable and safety-focused Auto Electricians who take pride in their work.

Essential requirements:

• Relevant Auto Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Experience working on heavy earthmoving or mining equipment.
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
