Job summary

Mader Group is seeking Auto Electricians for Central Queensland, across Bowen Basin and Mackay regions. Join a high-performing crew on surface mining sites, with a 7/7 roster and competitive hourly rates.

Ideal candidates hold Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent), with an Automotive Air Conditioning Licence and proven OEM experience. You’ll have full Australian working rights and a strong safety mindset.

• Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent) is essential.
• Automotive Air Conditioning Licence required.
• Strong OEM experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr.
• Manual Australian Driver’s Licence required.
• Full Australian working rights required.
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic.
• Proven mining experience with ability to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on surface mining equipment.
• Fault finding across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr and other OEM machinery.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
• Contribute to a safe, high-performing team environment.
