Job summary

Emeco is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join the Maules Creek and Vickery mine fleets in the Gunnedah Basin, NSW. The role offers a permanent position with an hourly casual rate of $91.25 and full-time rate options.

Camp accommodation with meals provided and a performance bonus scheme, plus a $5K refer-a-mate incentive. Emeco provides superannuation on all hours worked and access to health, retail, lifestyle perks and novated leases.

Qualifications

• Auto Electrical Cert of Proficiency required.
• Experience working on CAT or Hitachi fleet equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12/24-volt electrical repairs and routine maintenance.
• Carry out electrical tasks per company safety standards and budget targets.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults across electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other trades on-site to achieve team goals.
• Liaise with Emeco customers to support operations.

Vickery Fleet: D9 & D11 Dozers, 777F Water Carts, 793C/D Trucks, 854K Dozer, 988H Loader, 16M & 24M Graders and Hitachi 3600 Diggers

What We’re Looking For:

• Auto Electrical Cert of Proficiency
• Experience working on a fleet of CAT or Hitachi Fleet

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing all 12/24-volt electrical repairs, routine preventative maintenance, and upgrade works.
• Carrying out all electrical tasks in line with company standards, safety requirements, and budget targets.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults across electrical systems.
• Collaborating with other trades on-site, contributing to a cohesive team effort to achieve shared goals.
• Liaising with Emeco customers to support operational needs and deliver on company objectives.
