Job summary

The Mader Group is seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our mining maintenance team on 2/1 and 2/2 FIFO rosters from Melbourne. You will maintain, diagnose, fault-find and repair heavy mobile mining equipment to maximise reliability and uptime.

Exposure to CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr equipment is advantageous, and you must hold the Australian Trade Certificate – Automotive Electrical, plus a current Air Conditioning Licence and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Certificate – Automotive Electrical required.
• Experience on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Air Conditioning Licence required before site access.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

The Role

You'll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding and repair of heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and uptime.

Requirements

• Australian Trade Certificate – Automotive Electrical
• Previous mining experience working on heavy mobile equipment
• Air Conditioning Licence – must hold prior to going to site
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights
