Job summary

Qube Bulk is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join Thunderbox site operations in the Northern Goldfields. You will diagnose faults, repair and maintain modern Prime Movers and heavy earthmoving equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation and compliance with site procedures.

The role requires good communication, ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of qualified industry experience.
• Experience with heavy vehicles and earthmoving equipment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Police clearance dated within last 12 months.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join the well-established Qube team in the Northern Goldfields, for the Thunderbox site operations. The primary role of an Auto Electrician is to undertake fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of modern Prime Movers, heavy machinery & earthmoving equipment in accordance with operational requirements, efficiently & safely.

A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, independently & collaboratively within a team environment.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification
• Must have minimum 1 years’ qualified industry experience
• Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, side-tippers, bowl tippers, belly dumpers, Cats, Cummins etc.)
• National Police Clearance – dated within last 12 months of application
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people
• Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisions
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
