ChoiceOne is seeking experienced Auto Electricians for a FIFO underground mining role near Geraldton, WA. You will work on underground mobile plant, including drill rigs, jumbos, and haul trucks, with a focus on electrical fault finding and diagnostics.

Two rosters options exist (2:2, 8:6 and 2:1). Food and accommodation are provided on site, and a work vehicle is supplied. This is an ongoing opportunity in an underground mining environment.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician with underground mining experience.
• Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment and maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for underground machinery.

Auto Electricians – FIFO Underground Mining

FIFO from Perth | Geraldton Region | $80–$90/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join an underground mining operation located just out of Geraldton, WA.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Auto Electricians with a strong background in underground mobile plant maintenance.

Candidates must have hands-on experience working on underground mining equipment, including drill rigs, jumbos and underground haul trucks.

Essential experience

• Sandvik DD420 / DD421 / DD423i
• Epiroc underground equipment
• Underground drill rigs and jumbos
• Underground haul trucks
• Underground mobile mining equipment
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance
• Auto electrical systems, wiring and electrical components

What we’re looking for
