Job summary

MacKellar Group has partnered with Middlemount Coal since 2015, providing a large equipment hire fleet with full maintenance service at the Middlemount Coal mine site. We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our growing and well-established operation at Middlemount Mine.

If you’re an Auto Electrician with a strong work ethic and safety focus, we want to talk to you about permanent opportunities with meals, camp accommodation and PPE provided on site.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate with post-trade experience in Auto Electrical.
• Air-conditioning ticket.
• Experience servicing and maintaining mining plant and equipment.
• Current Queensland driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain mining plant and equipment at Middlemount Mine site.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Auto Electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and site procedures.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to support equipment uptime.

What you'll need to succeed

• A trade certificate with post-trade experience (Auto Electrical)

• Previous experience in servicing and maintenance of mining plant and equipment
• A current Queensland driver licence
