Job summary

Barminco in Western Australia is seeking an Auto Electrician to join the Rhino Field Service team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on our Sandvik Rhinos, ensuring safe operation and high machine availability in underground conditions.

The role features 8/6 or 14/14 rosters, field service at underground mine sites, and extensive maintenance duties. A trade qualification and Raiseborer knowledge are required; flights and a $3,000 sign-on bonus are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician with Raiseborer machine knowledge.
• Trade qualification as Auto Electrician (or equivalent).
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Field service support to underground mine sites.
• Fault-find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in confined and challenging underground environments.
• Complete maintenance documentation and follow all site safety and compliance requirements.

Join Barminco as an Auto Electrician and be part of our Rhino Field Service team in WA.

You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on our fleet of Sandvik Rhinos.

Ensuring a safe, reliable operation and high machine availability in challenging underground conditions is paramount to your role.

Rosters: 8/6 or 14/14 day shift only
