Job summary

Barminco is seeking an LV Fitter to join our underground mining team on a 7/7 day/night roster in Western Australia. You will maintain, service, and repair a large fleet of underground light vehicles to keep them safe, reliable and compliant with site standards.

Role involves diagnostics, repairs, inspections and breakdowns, with a strong focus on safety and accurate maintenance records. FIFO and DIDO options apply; training and career development opportunities are also offered.

Qualifications

• Previous LV Fitter experience preferred.
• Trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (or equivalent).
• Ability to meet site access requirements (Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs.
• Conduct inspections, pre-starts, and compliance checks to ensure vehicles are safe for operation.

• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground.

Join the Barminco team as aLV Fitter on a 7/7 day/night roster and support our underground mining operations in Western Australia.

Our ideal candidate background includes

• Previous experience working as a LV Fitter.
• Trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (or equivalent).
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).
