Job summary

Barminco is seeking an experienced HD Fitter to support underground mining operations across Australia, with opportunities at sites throughout Western Australia on various rosters.

You will perform maintenance on a diverse fleet of underground mining equipment, diagnose faults, and ensure safe operation through thorough inspections and pre-start checks. FIFO/DIDO options and career progression are offered within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a HD Fitter.
• Ability to meet site access requirements (Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on underground heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Conduct inspections, servicing, and component change-outs to manufacturer and site standards.
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure equipment is safe and compliant for operation.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and report defects or hazards.
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to minimise machine downtime.

Join the Barminco team as aHD Fitter and support our underground mining operations across Australia.

We have opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia on a variety of rosters.

You’ll deliver a range of underground maintenance activities across our large and diverse fleet of machines and equipment.

Rosters: 14/14 or 8/6/7/7 or 7/7

What will your day to day look like?

• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on our underground heavy mining equipment

• Previous experience working as a HD Fitter
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
