Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is seeking an Auto Electrician to join the Rhino Field Service team in Western Australia. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on our Sandvik Rhinos to ensure safe, reliable operation in challenging underground conditions.

Rosters are 8/6 or 14/14 day shifts. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, flights from major Australian cities, and opportunities for career progression within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (or equivalent).
• Experience with Auto Electrician role in underground mining preferred.
• Ability to meet site access requirements (Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems
• Provide field service support to underground mine sites
• Fault-find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability
• Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in confined underground environments
• Complete maintenance documentation and follow safety and compliance
