Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Roaming Excavator Crew across central Queensland mine sites. You will provide breakdown and maintenance support, diagnose faults, and repair Liebherr hydraulic excavators and related mining equipment, traveling between sites as required.

• Trade qualification as Auto Electrician.
• Experience with heavy mobile plant, preferably Liebherr.
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide breakdown and maintenance Auto Electrician support across multiple mine sites.
• Diagnose and repair faults on Liebherr hydraulic excavators and associated mining equipment.
• Travel throughout central Qld to provide additional maintenance support, focusing on critical machine availability.
