Job summary

MyndShift Group in Mackay is seeking an Auto Electrician to join a workshop-based team working on heavy mining equipment. You will perform electrical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics and rebuild work across major machinery in a local Paget workshop, with 75% of duties in-house and some field service support.

Trade-qualified (Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent) with experience on heavy earthmoving equipment is required; Refrigerant Handling license is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician with Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving, mining, or civil equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability.
• Experience with machine rebuilds, wiring and electrical component installation.
• Refrigerant Handling License highly regarded.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our client’s workshop team in Paget, Mackay.
This is a local, workshop-based position, with approximately 75% of the work based in the workshop and the opportunity to support field service as required. You'll be working across major heavy machinery rebuild and refurbishment programs.
The Role
You will be responsible for electrical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics and rebuild work across a range of heavy mining and civil equipment.
What We're Looking For

• Trade Qualified Auto Electrician – Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working on heavy earthmoving, mining or civil equipment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
• Experience with machine rebuilds, wiring and electrical component installation
