Redpath Mining Inc. seeks an experienced Auto Electrician to join our underground maintenance team on a major gold project. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a modern Sandvik fleet, contributing to safe, reliable and productive operations.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification.
• Experience working on underground mining equipment.
• Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Solid understanding of underground mining electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on Sandvik underground equipment.
• Perform preventative, planned and scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Identify and resolve faults to maximise equipment availability.
• Ensure all work adheres to site, OEM and Redpath standards.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to support safe operations.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Redpath is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our underground mining maintenance team on a major gold project.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repair of a modern fleet of Sandvik underground mining equipment, helping keep our operation safe, reliable and productive.

You'll work alongside a highly skilled maintenance team in a safety-focused environment, with exposure to a well-maintained fleet of modern underground equipment.

Our Fleet Includes

• Sandvik underground trucks
• Auxiliary underground support equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs on Sandvik underground equipment
• Perform preventative, planned and scheduled maintenance
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot electrical faults
• Identify and resolve faults efficiently to maximise equipment availability
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site, OEM and Redpath standards
• Complete accurate maintenance records, reports and documentation
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support safe and efficient operations
• Contribute to a positive culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Auto Electrician who takes pride in their work and is committed to safe, high-quality maintenance.

You will require the following skills and qualifications:

• Australian recognised Auto Electrical trade qualification
• Experience working on underground mining equipment
• Previous experience with Sandvik equipment highly regarded
• Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A solid understanding of underground mining electrical systems
• A strong commitment to safety, procedures and quality workmanship
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Previous underground mining or heavy industrial experience preferred
