Marble Group seeks an experienced underground maintenance tradesperson for a busy UG mining operation in Central Queensland. FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore, with 8:6 and 7:7 rosters and a full camp with meals provided.

You will work on modern UG mining equipment, including CAT, Sandvik, Normet and Epiroc brands, reporting to the maintenance supervisor with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Competenze

• Experience working on UG hard rock mining equipment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an underground mine environment.
• Strong safety values.

Mansioni

• Workshop and field duties - maintenance and repair on UG mining machinery.
• Work in a close-knit team of experienced tradespeople.
• Reporting into the maintenance leading hand/supervisor.
• Machinery brands - CAT, Sandvik (new equipment), Normet, Epiroc.

The opportunity

• FIFO from Brisbane or Maroochydore
• Attractive 8:6 and 7:7 roster - days and nights, Tuesday to Tuesday, 50/50 your time, company time.
• Challenging role where your skills will develop on new equipment
• Full camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied - currently undergoing a full \"beautification\" program, with rooms being rebuilt and refreshed

Duties of the role
You will enjoy working in a role that will further develop your skills and experience on modern UG mining equipment

• Workshop and field duties - maintenance and repair on UG mining machinery
• Work in a close-knit team of experienced tradespeople
• Reporting into the maintenance leading hand/supervisor
• Machinery brands - CAT, Sandvik (new equipment), Normet, Epiroc
• Leaky feeder and HV switching exposure - RCT (Remote Tech) experience highly regarded

Your value and experience

• Experience working on UG hard rock mining equipment
• Minimum 1 year experience in an underground mine environment
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
