MacKellar Group at Boundary Hill is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team and support a large fleet of mining equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

This day-shift role operates on a 5/4/4/5 lifestyle roster, offering permanent full-time employment with camp accommodation, meals, and bus transport to site. Join a supportive team with established systems and leadership to ensure reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Auto Electrician.
• Experience on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment.
• Valid ARC / air-conditioning licence.
• Current QLD driver's licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on mobile mining equipment.
• Conduct planned maintenance and servicing activities.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find across a range of systems.
• Complete repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
• Work closely with other trades and site personnel.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy mining equipment to ensure maximum reliability and uptime across site operations. The role will see you working within a well-established maintenance team, carrying out both breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks.

Duties will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on mobile mining equipment
