Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a fixed plant mechanical fitter to join our surface maintenance crew at a North Queensland mine. You will perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant to keep crushing, grinding and flotation circuits running safely.

This permanent role offers an even-time 2:2 roster, FIFO flights from Brisbane and Townsville, training and development, and clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• Fixed plant experience in mining, processing, manufacturing or heavy industry is highly regarded.
• Current unrestricted manual driver's licence and ability to pass medical/police checks.
• Commitment to safety and following site isolation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant.
• Work across crushing, grinding and flotation circuits, including conveyors, pumps and mills.
• Component change-outs, rebuilds and equipment upgrades.
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and lube system work to site standard.
• Work orders and site maintenance systems; report to maintenance supervisor.

The Role

You'll be at an established mine in North Queensland, with camp close to site and solid facilities.

• 2:2 roster, 12-hour shifts across days and nights
