Job summary

Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) is seeking a dedicated education support worker to assist the Distance Education program. You will help tailor learning experiences to individual needs, applying evidence-informed autism education strategies.

You will work in a team with school psychologists, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality programs across multiple sites, with potential travel across the area.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or intellectual disability.
• Experience implementing Individual Plans.
• Knowledge of transitioning students into mainstream settings.
• Current driver's licence may be essential depending on location.
• LR licence is desirable where required by school location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with learning, engagement and program support for the Distance Education program.
• Contribute to evidence-informed approaches in autism-focused education.
• Collaborate with school psychologist, speech and occupational therapists to deliver quality programs.
• Help create supportive learning environments tailored to individual student needs.
