Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) is seeking a Distance Education Teacher – Subject Matter Expert for Semester 2, 2026. This role focuses on delivering evidence-informed teaching, supporting wellbeing and progress for students on the autism spectrum in a flexible, hybrid model.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor learning and engage families, with opportunities for professional growth and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• TRB registration to teach in South Australia.
• Special Education qualifications are preferred.
• Willingness and capacity to teach outside of subject area.
• Distance Education requires experience with Google Classrooms, M365 SharePoint or other online platforms.
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disability is desirable.
• SA Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment.
• A current driver's licence may be essential depending on location.
• Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence is desirable.
• International police clearance may be required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-informed teaching and learning programs in a distance education environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to design and deliver learning programs.
• Support student engagement, wellbeing and progress through data-informed instruction and feedback.
• Utilise Google Classrooms and online platforms to manage and deliver curriculum.
