Blue Light Card is seeking a sole in-market People leader to own the full people function in Australia. Based in Sydney with three days in the office, you will tailor global frameworks to the Australian context, shaping decisions, culture, and compliance as the business scales.

Reporting to the UK Chief People Officer and locally to the General Manager Australia, you’ll partner with leadership to drive growth, engagement, and a high-performance culture while guiding HR across ER, talent, and

Qualifications

• Senior HR business partner with senior-level partnership experience.
• Experience scaling or high-growth businesses.
• Broad HR remit incl. ER, talent, performance, reward, engagement and organisational design.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards).
• Analytical with data-driven decision making.
• Experience with UK-headquartered or globally distributed organisations is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Own the Australian people plan aligned to growth objectives.
• Drive performance culture with goal setting and development conversations.
• Lead employee relations end-to-end in line with Australian law.
• Plan and sequence hiring with Talent Acquisition and oversee onboarding in Australia.
• Adapt global people frameworks to local legislative needs.
• Lead engagement activity using data to surface trends.
• Play central role in transition to AI-enabled organisation.
• Represent the Australian business within the People team and inform group decisions.
