Job summary

ZOE is expanding to Australia and seeks a Marketing and Communications Lead to own the Australian market entry end‑to‑end while collaborating on global brand moments. You will drive commercial growth, partnerships, and PR locally, briefing UK/US teams and managing local freelancers to build a credible, evidence-based Australian narrative.

You will stand up the Australian press office, write and pitch stories, cultivate media relationships, and ensure local campaigns align with global playbooks.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years launching or scaling a consumer brand in Australia.
• Startup, scale-up or new-market launch experience.
• Hands-on pitcher with national Australian coverage.
• Self-starter across time zones and async work.
• Native-level English writing and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Own the Australian market entry (~75%).
• Lead local growth, partnerships and PR efforts.
• Local press office setup, media lists, stories pitching.
• Oversee freelancers/agencies for execution when needed.
• Share insights and playbooks with UK/US teams.
• Support global science moments and cross-market initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Performance and Product teams.
