Job summary

Wayflyer is seeking a Business Development Representative in Sydney, Australia. This hybrid role puts you on the front line of early conversations with founders, qualifying financing needs and routing opportunities to our Account Executives.

You’ll thrive on curiosity, hustle, and a bias for getting it right in a fast-growing fintech environment. You’ll join a global team and have clear paths to progression into Account Executive or Customer Success roles within 12–18 months through our Revenue

Qualifications

• Relevant sales experience is important.
• Startup experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
• You’re hungry, commercially sharp, and genuinely excited by the challenge.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be the first voice a lot of founders ever hear from Wayflyer.
• Qualify funding needs, build genuine rapport with founders, and get the right businesses in front of our Account Executives.
• You’ll identify what works, iterate on outreach, and help drive early conversations toward opportunities.
