Job summary

Wayflyer in Sydney is seeking a dynamic leader to shape our outbound BDR function. You’ll lead the Sydney BDR team, set strategy, and drive pipeline generation in a fast-paced startup environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll coach staff, ensure talented handoffs to AE, partner with Enablement on onboarding, and push for continuous sales ops improvements. This role offers hybrid work (3-4 days) and a chance to rise into broader sales leadership as the company expands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading outbound sales teams.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Data-driven, comfortable using metrics to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Turning sales-qualified leads into real pipeline opportunities, consistently
• Coaching your team until they can articulate our value proposition better than anyone else in the market
• Keeping the team motivated and on track to exceed monthly targets
• Acting as the connective tissue between BDR and AE units, so handoffs are seamless instead of a source of friction
• Partnering with Enablement on onboarding and training, so new joiners ramp fast and stay sharp
• Spotting opportunities to improve sales operations and working with executive leadership to act on them
