Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking an Assistant Manager in Perth to lead audit engagements, coach a team, and ensure high-quality delivery for diverse clients across sectors. You will manage client interactions, timelines, and risk while collaborating with senior leaders.

You will contribute to the development of the Perth Audit & Assurance practice, applying strong technical knowledge and mentoring junior staff to sustain growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years external audit experience including team management.
• CA qualified (or equivalent) and knowledge of Australian auditing standards.
• Strong understanding of the Corporations Act and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements with quality delivery.
• Review financial statements and disclosures for compliance with standards.
• Coach and supervise audit staff; coordinate timelines and resources.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to engagement growth.
• Support Partners and Managers in risk management and quality control.
