Job summary

Vocus Group is seeking an Associate SD WAN Implementation Architect to act as a technical lead for customer deployments of managed network services. You will design low-level SD-WAN configurations, document requirements, and coordinate with sales, pre-sales, engineering and provisioning to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Responsibilities include leading workshops with customers, creating templates and standards, and taking ownership of design and deployment escalations.

Qualifications

• Lead delivery engineer/solution architect in a carrier or MSP environment.
• Vendor platforms including Fortinet and Cisco; NSE4 certification advantageous.
• SD-WAN solution and network design with detailed configurations.
• Technical requirements gathering and documentation.
• Clear communicator; lead technical meetings with senior customer contacts.
• Experience with Python, Perl, Shell, Puppet, Chef or Ansible and API-driven solutions.
• NV1 Cleared or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document detailed configuration requirements with customers and create low-level design documents.
• Lead customer workshops to discuss technical and operational aspects of the Vocus solution.
• Manage implementation of the customer’s solution per the plan.
• Collaborate with the Implementation team to develop and improve SD-WAN skills.
• Create configuration templates and standards for deployment; brief service delivery engineers.
