Job summary

VOCUS in Sydney is seeking an Associate SD WAN Implementation Architect to lead customer deployments of our managed network services, owning the solution design and configuring SD WAN platforms. You will gather detailed customer requirements, create low-level designs, and collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering and Operations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as lead delivery engineer or solution architect in a carrier or MSP environment.
• Vendor platform certifications, including Fortinet and Cisco; NSE4 level preferred.
• SD-WAN design and network configuration experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting designs.
• Clear documentation and ability to lead technical meetings with senior customer contacts.
• Scripting experience with Python, Perl, Shell, Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• NV1 clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document detailed configuration requirements and create low-level design docs.
• Lead workshops and engage with customers on technical/operational aspects of the Vocus solution.
• Manage the implementation of the customer’s solution per the agreed plan.
• Work with the Implementation team to hone and improve SD WAN Architect skills.
• Create configuration templates and brief service delivery engineers on the solution.
• Take ownership of design and deployment escalations and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Develop the managed services delivery playbook to guide deployments.
