Job summary

Cenitex is seeking an Associate Network Engineer in Melbourne (CBD and Inner Metro) to support networking infrastructure for Cenitex customers. You will resolve issues at client sites and participate in project and change requests to ensure high standards.

This role calls for after-hours on-call rotation and weekend availability. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining routing, switching, wireless and security devices, plus SD-WAN deployment (Meraki) and monitoring with SolarWinds.

Qualifications

• Experience with networking technologies such as routing and switching, wireless, firewalls and SD-WAN (Meraki).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, network engineers and third-party vendors.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call roster and weekend work for migrations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve logical network infrastructure issues at customer sites.
• Install, commission and decommission networking infrastructure equipment.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance on networking infrastructure.
• Create and implement network changes for projects and operations.
• Communicate with customers, network engineers and third-party support vendors.
