Job summary

The Range at Country Club Tasmania, part of Federal Group, is seeking a hospitality leader who brings energy, connects with guests and leads by example. You’ll welcome guests, roll up your sleeves and drive daily operations with your team.

You’ll coach and develop staff, manage rostering, cash handling and stock control, and help deliver events and golf competitions while maintaining a safe, welcoming venue with a guest-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or a similar leadership role.
• Guest-first approach with strong communication.
• Ability to lead, coach and support a team.
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise in a fast-paced venue.
• Knowledge of rostering, cash handling, stock control and cost management.
• Accreditations in Responsible Service of Alcohol and related gaming competencies are advantageous.

We’re looking for a hospitality leader who brings great energy, connects naturally with people and leads by example. You’ll be just as comfortable welcoming guests as rolling up your sleeves alongside the team, spotting what needs doing and making it happen. Supporting the Venue Operations Manager, you’ll help create a welcoming, fun atmosphere while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll:

• Lead, coach and develop the team to deliver great service.

• Help bring venue events and golf competitions to life.

What you’ll bring to the role:

You’ll bring hospitality leadership experience, a guest-first mindset and the confidence to keep things running smoothly in a busy entertainment venue. Along with a collaborative approach and a commitment to great service, you’ll have:

• Experience in hospitality management or a similar role, with the confidence to lead, coach and support a team.
• A guest-first approach, strong communication skills and the ability to resolve concerns professionally.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, delegate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of day-to-day venue operations, including rostering, cash handling, stock control and managing labour and operating costs.
• A commitment to safe work practices, responsible service and maintaining high service standards.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming accreditations, Keno and Senior Keno Writer competencies, and Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
