Job summary

Cliftons Sydney is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to help run two premium corporate event spaces. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to deliver meetings, conferences, training programs, and events that clients remember for the right reasons.

This role offers variety, hands-on experience, and opportunities to develop leadership, client service, and operational skills. You’ll contribute ideas and help ensure venues are ready for what’s coming next.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, events, conferencing, hotels or another customer-focused operational environment.
• Experience supporting or coordinating people and competing priorities.
• Strong relationship-building, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate venue, front-of-house and catering operations
• Support and guide team members throughout event delivery
• Keep venue presentation, facilities, maintenance and workplace safety standards on track
• Assist with rostering, resources and operational budgets
• Build strong client relationships and calmly solve event-day challenges
