Job summary

Cliftons is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support two Sydney venues, ensuring smooth client experiences from arrival through event delivery. You will work with the Venue Manager across front-of-house and catering operations, coordinating resources and maintaining high presentation and safety standards.

You will lead and guide team members, assist with rostering and budgets, and build strong client relationships to calmly solve event-day challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, events, conferencing, hotels or another customer-focused operational environment.
• Experience supporting or coordinating people and competing priorities.
• Strong relationship-building, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate venue, front-of-house and catering operations.
• Support and guide team members throughout event delivery.
• Maintain venue presentation, facilities, maintenance and workplace safety standards.
